1. Arrive at the car park or onsite at the time given to you by your charity or your event organiser
2. Your event organiser will sign you in close to the Kelpies before your adventure begins!

Your exact start time and pre-event info will be emailed to you directly from your charity or event organiser. Activity duration lasts around 1.5 hours and will operate between 09:00 and 17:00.

Please contact your event organiser/charity immediately and let them know your situation, it may not be possible to change your time.
Mentally - You will be moving around cables, ladders and ropes at up to 90ft off the ground. It will feel exposed and high up. The course is designed to challenge you, but you will always be clipped in to a safety line and guided by professionals.
Physically - Be prepared to climb up at least seven 3m vertical ladders, walk across cable bridges, crouch or crawl through gaps and crawl on suspended nets There are platforms to stand and rest on the way up. Activity duration is around 1.5 hrs.
We do our upmost to make the course as accessible as possible, however due to the challenging nature of the activity and space constraints it is not possible for all to take part.
We regret we cannot provide for any wheel chair users or people that require crutches or other walking aids on the standard course. However we are working on designing a special experience for wheel chair users to ascend and abseil only within the structure.
Mobility:
To access the mouth area you will need to crouch or crawl for a short period.
You need to climb up 7 vertical ladders.
Visual impairment/registered blind: This may be possible depending on circumstances. Please contact us directly.
Essential:
- Well fitting laced shoes - ideally walking boots. Do NOT bring high heel shoes, loose trainers or laceless shoes otherwise you will not be allowed to take part.
- Leather palmed gloves if you have (like gardening gloves - NOT rubber or synthetic gloves). If you don't have we will provide for you. Your gloves may get wear and tear.
- Any required medication
- Form of payment for food and drink or professional event images (card only)
- Hair band/bobbles for keeping hair tied back during (that includes long beards!)
Clothing
- Full length trousers
- Full length arms
- Warm clothes - Much of the course is shaded and feels cool
- Water proofs - If it rains you will get wet!
Yes, our harnesses and the course is rated up to Maximum body weight of 18.8 stone / 120kg. We regret beyond that we cannot allow access.

Minimum height is 140cm
Our professional guides will stick with you and encourage you throughout the duration of the course. There are a number of platforms that you can rest on. If you feel you are unable to progress for any reason, our guides will facilitate your decent from any level of the course.
We recommend bringing a friend that can look after your belongings whilst you take part, if not then we do have a bag drop within the Kelpies structure (please do not leave valuables).

Yes, it costs between £2-4 to park onsite. Please be aware it can fill up early in the morning during nice weather and holidays, so to avoid long delays we recommend you park at Falkirk Stadium and enjoy the walk through The Helix to The Kelpies. It may be worthwhile checking Falkirk Football Club's fixtures list before departing for as this car park is unavailable on match days.
Charity fundraisers: Each charity has their own initial 'sign up' fee and minimum fundraising amount. Please see here:
All ticket fee's and fundraised money is paid directly to your chosen charity. When your first sign up they will support you on your fundraising journey and help you set up fundraising pages (just giving etc)

If you are signing up to a charity event then yes, the event is only possible if each participant pledges to fundraise the minimum amount for one of our incredible charity partners.
Currently you can only sign up to support one of our partner charities. However we are actively looking for new charity partners so ask your charity events team to get in contact with us ASAP!

Please contact your charity or event organiser immediately and let them know so they can try and replace you. Only the Charity can inform you on their refund policy or what to do with fundraised income.
The course is well protected from the wind so can operate in higher winds than many aerial courses. In the event of very severe weather forcing the postponement of the event your charity or event organiser will contact you directly with updates and rescheduling options.
In the event of unforeseen lighting storms on the day, participation will be halted until its safe to continue or may be postponed for the rest of the day.
10 Years is the minimum age with a minimum height of 140cm. 10 - 17 years old will need to be accompanied on the course with their parent or guardian who will also need to be a ticket holder.
No, for the safety of other participants and members of the public below we cannot allow ANY phones, cameras, Go-Pros, keys or loose objects to be carried during the experience.
You will be able to purchase professional photographs at the end of your experience.
We welcome your supporters but due to the enclosed nature of the sculpture they will not be able to see you taking part very easily.
Dogs are allowed onsite but are not allowed inside the Kelpie structure and must be looked after by a friend whilst you take part.
